Cascadia Dirt Cup Round 3
ROGUE VALLEY
ENDURO
June 25-26, 2022 | Ashland, Oregon
Rogue Valley Enduro | Ashland, Oregon
⚠️ NOTICE: A ONE HOUR EARLIER START HAS BEEN SET EACH DAY TO BEAT THE HEAT FOR THIS EVENT ⚠️
Carefully review the schedule below with all changes for the weekend to impose an earlier start and promote an earlier finish.
This includes a cut-off time for all categories to ensure racers and volunteers are back by 2 pm for podiums each day at 2:15.
DIRECTIONS The race venue is minutes from downtown Ashland at the south end of beautiful Lithia Park, near the corner of Granite St and Glenview Drive.
Parking is in Lithia Park along Winburn Way and Granite Street where you will find many smaller lots within a mile of the race venue. 10 MPH NO DUST RULE in effect for all roads around the venue and up on course! Do not park in NO PARKING ZONES or you will be towed. We encourage carpooling and pedaling in from town if possible. No camping is allowed at the venue or in Lithia Park. Please check out nearby lodging/camping options.
Bring your bathing suits - the Granite Street Reservoir at the south end of Lithia Park is conveniently located where we'll be hosting the awards ceremony, inviting you for a post race plunge while you're waiting for racers to finish, and perfect for getting all cleaned up for your appearance on the podium steps!
🐶 We love our dogs of Cascadia, but please note no dogs are allowed on course at any time, and per Lithia Park rules, no dogs are allowed inside Lithia Park. Dogs are allowed at the race venue, but must be on leash at all times. Please be a responsible pet owner and pick up after them - don't leave poop bags in the woods!
PLEASE BRING TO EVERY RACE
FOOD + WATER - Bring more than you think you'll need! Plan to carry at least 50 ounces of water on you at all times while riding, plus carb and protein rich snacks to have on hand throughout the day. The aid station on course is not intended to be your sole support, it's intended for water top-offs and food to supplement you. Proper preparation goes a long way in preventing emergencies on race day.
HELMETS / BODY PROTECTION Helmets must be worn at all times while on course, on both the transfers and race stages. If you're pedaling you must have your helmet securely fastened or risk disqualification. A full face helmet is highly suggested, but not mandatory. Additional body protection to consider are gloves, knee pads, eye protection, neck braces, chest protection, elbow guards, etc.
COURSE MAP Download the Trailforks App to your mobile device with updated regional maps including the event course links released on Wednesday evening of race week; if you do not have a mobile write down the course details with stage names and order to carry with you during the event, found in the race guide or on the information board in the main venue.
TRASH - Pack it in, pack it out. Please help us keep the forest clean while we're guests at the race venue.
TOOLS - Pack a small tool kit with puncture repair kit + multi tool for on the fly trailside repairs
AID - Consider a basic first aid kit with sunscreen, bug spray and bandaids to take care of the bites, burns, stings and things. A waterproof jacket, emergency blanket and whistle area all good ideas too!
