Race Cascadia is proud to team up with the Timberline Lodge and Bike park to bring racing to the slopes of Mt Hood and together raise money for the Doernbecher Children's Hospital. Bring your friends, family, neighbors, heck, bring your boss! Entry to the festival is free with donation to DCH, will start with the bike race, and end with a live concert More bands, more beer, and more shenanigans from us, yours truly the Race Cascadia Crew. What more could you ask for?

Racers have 4 hours to get their best time on each stage! 

Racers must have one lap per stage before they can go back for repeats.

 8:05 am  -All Sport, Jr Sport and 12 and under categories

A food, wine, and beer garden will be set up on the lodge's back patio, a short distance from the amphitheater. In addition to Mt. Hood Brewing Co. craft ales, a variety of local beer, wine, cider, and spirits will also be available.

Timberline’s other restaurants will be open during Daydream. The  Cascade Dining Room – breakfast and lunch buffets, casual fine dining for dinner (reservations recommended for dinner). 

 

Ram’s Head Bar – family-friendly food and drinks with mountain views. Food and beverage will also be available in the Day Lodge during the bike race.

No picnics please.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO!
We expect heavy traffic for this event. Parking and shuttle access is available first-come-first served. When Timberline's upper lots reach capacity, the main access road will close. Timberline Shuttles will offer service from Summit Pass in Government Camp at Summit Pass. Public transportation via the Mt. Hood Express is available from Sandy and Welches up to Timberline. Use TripCheck to view traffic.

EVENT SCHEDULE

PRACTICE DAY: Saturday August 31st Course marked by noon for unsanctioned practice. Racers are expected to purchase their own lift tickets for practice. 

RACE PACKET PICKUP FRIDAY 4-5PM at DAY LODGE/BIKE PARK ENTRANCE

RACE DAY: SUNDAY September 1st 

6:00 AM Venue opens 

6:30 AM Packet pickup starts in the race venue 
7:35 AM Mandatory racer briefing
7:55 AM Racer call ups start by category 

8:00 AM First wave of racers off
12:30 PM Podium awards* with medals 3-deep

*Podiums awards are within 20 minutes of last rider turning in their timing chip; time is approximate and subject to change.

Timberline sets the stage with a free, live concert made possible by our sponsors. There is a suggested donation of $20 per person or $50 per family to OHSU Doernbecher Children's Hospital. Capacity is limited, attendance is available first-come-first-served.

Join us at the amphitheater northwest of historic Timberline Lodge. Rain or shine, music starts at noon and ends before the sun goes down. Dress in layers and be prepared for cool mountain temps!
